Teen award ceremony announcement
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Chattanooga annually recognize one teen member as its Youth of the Year award winner. The winner and scholarship recipient have demonstrated academic achievement, regular club attendance, outstanding leadership, and impactful community service. The winner is announced at the club’s annual teen leadership luncheon.
The event is sponsored by Unum and will take place on Wednesday at noon at the Westin Chattanooga, Portman Ballroom, located at 801 Pine Street, Chattanooga. Complimentary valet parking will be provided for attendees.
Each year, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chattanooga select a teen member who exemplifies the values and mission of the organization. The Youth of the Year award recognizes the dedication and hard work of these exceptional young individuals who have shown a commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and service to their community.
The recipient of the Youth of the Year award receives a scholarship and is celebrated for their achievements in front of their peers, club staff, sponsors, and community leaders.
