Great cooking, we believe, begins with fresh, local ingredients. Everything in our kitchen is made from scratch using the freshest fruit, meats, and seasonal ingredients. The finest oysters and seasonal shellfish are available at our trademark raw bar. We approach each meal with the same inventive spirit that we apply to our signature cocktails and welcoming ambience. Cocktails are STIR’s specialty. We make our own bitters and syrups, press juices, and slice ingredients in-house, freezing and carving 300-pound blocks of handmade ice. For fuller tastes, we age some cocktails in oak barrels, while others are served on draft for crispness and carbonation. As a result, the cocktails are categorically boosted.
Our passion for fine spirits drives us to seek out unusual and unusual spirits. Many of these bottles, such as 23-year-old Pappy Van Winkle and 18-year-old Whistlepig Rye, are exceptionally difficult to come by. Rare spirits are featured on a regular basis at STIR, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
