Chattanooga Prepares for Cirque Du Soleil’s OVO Spectacular
After a long hiatus, Cirque Du Soleil returns to Chattanooga with its high-energy, high-acrobatic production – OVO. The show, a vibrant celebration of biodiversity, is set to amaze audiences at the McKenzie Arena from October 3rd to October 6th.
Return of the Cirque
With a troupe of 100 talented individuals from 25 different countries including 52 performing artists, Cirque Du Soleil is bringing its newly revamped show, OVO, to the McKenzie Arena. Famed for its captivating story centered around insects, OVO offers a non-stop flurry of movement and energy. Capturing unique insect characteristics and abilities, the show mesmerizes with extraordinary acrobats, magical stage effects and vibrant costumes.
What To Expect from OVO
OVO, meaning egg in Portuguese, takes its audience on a whimsical journey into the world of insects. Inspired by the contrast and vibrancy of biodiversity, the show continues to delight audiences around the globe with its colorful representation of life from the perspective of insects. With each performance, spectators are drawn into a world of bouncing crickets, a twisty spider in her web, and other intriguing insects, each showcasing their distinct personalities with high-level acrobatics.
New characters and three new acts were introduced to the show since its relaunch in 2022, adding a renewed sense of intrigue and excitement. Comedy and chaos blend charmingly in the colony amongst lovable characters, evoking laughter and wonder from adults and children alike.

Since Cirque Du Soleil premiered OVO in Montreal in 2009, more than 7 million people across 40 countries have experienced the incredible production. As of now, ticket sales are exclusive for Cirque Club members. However, general ticket sales will commence on June 10 at 10 a.m. ET on the Cirque Du Soleil’s official webpage for OVO.
