Chattanooga Revs Up for a Musical Extravaganza

Get ready Chattanooga, as a musical bonanza awaits you this Friday, July 26th. Nightfall, the city’s longest-running free summer concert series, is set to host a double-bill event, featuring traces of classic soul, funk and R&B performed by local talents. The evening kicks off with an act from Prince T, followed by the melodious funk renditions from the 11-piece Off The T.O.P Band.

Prince T – The Local Phenom

Recognized as a significant force in the local Chattanooga music scene, Prince T has an extensive range and raw talents that have made a significant impact. His grandmother’s belief in his unique gifts inspired him to pursue music after a football injury. Since then, he has focused on reviving the sounds of Motown for a new generation.

Dedicated to his roots and his city, Prince T not only seeks to collaborate with local artists but also aims at creating a supportive platform for emerging talents. As a proud Chattanoogan, he aims to ensure that the sound of classic R&B remains alive, resonating through the city’s air.

Off The T.O.P Band – An Ode to Tower of Power and More

Taking the stage after Prince T at 8:25 pm is the 11-piece Off The T.O.P. Band. Known for their incredible renditions of funk and soul hits from such prominent bands as the Tower of Power, the Off The T.O.P. Band promises a live music evening that Chattanoogans will remember. Led by Stephen Bearden, the band will light up the stage with a mix of timeless classics, all backed by powerful vocals, a killer rhythm section, and a brilliant horn section.

More Than Music at Nightfall

Apart from offering stunning musical performances, Nightfall also features food trucks, local artisan vendors, children’s activities, and more to enhance the visitor experience. Free motorcycle parking is available along M.L.King Boulevard between Georgia Avenue and Lindsey Street. Visitors might also want to take advantage of the all-new Nightfall Happy Hour offering weekly drink specials from 5:30-6:30 pm. However, please note that outside food, beverages, or alcoholic drinks cannot be brought into Nightfall, as concession sales are a key fundraiser for the event.
