Independents’ enthusiasm, although less substantial, also had an increase from 34% to 53%. The poll found 48% of registered voters inclined to vote for Harris against the 43% for Trump. Despite the increased support for Harris, she still faces the challenging task of appeasing various factions within her party.

Harris’s response to pro-Palestinian protestors during rallies has marked a distinct change from the approach Biden had previously taken.
