Hey there, Chattanooga! 🎉 Are you ready for an action-packed weekend? There’s a lot happening in our beautiful city, from car shows to local art exhibitions, and yes, even Halloween festivities! So grab your calendar, and let’s dive into the exciting events you won’t want to miss!

Art Adventures 🎨

If you’re an art lover, this weekend is just for you! First up, the Photographic Society of Chattanooga continues its autumn show at the Gallery at Blackwell, located at 71 Eastgate Loop. The gallery is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and will showcase a stunning collection of photography until December 6. You can even purchase some of the beautiful works on display!

Over at the In-Town Gallery at 26A Frazier Ave, you can check out “Cuttin’ Up,” a metal sculpture exhibition by Denice Bizot, running until October 30. The gallery is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

And don’t forget to swing by Area 61 Gallery to see “The Faces/Phases of Rick Sanders,” open until November during their hours of noon to 6 p.m. Monday, Thursday through Sunday.

Comedy and Music 🎭🎶

For comedy fans, Jenna Kim Jones will be performing at Barking Legs Theater tonight at 7:30 p.m.. Grab a ticket for just $25 to enjoy an evening filled with laughter!

If you’re in the mood for some live music, Chattanooga Hip Hop Week is still going strong with events across the city, including performances and discussions. And don’t miss the chance to experience the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera, which will host family concerts inspired by “The Little Engine That Could” this weekend. How fun is that?

Halloween Festivities 🎃

Now, if you’re looking to embrace the Halloween spirit, Dread Hollow at 321 Browns Ferry Road has got you covered with their haunted houses and escape rooms, open from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursdays, 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays, and so much more!

Additionally, don’t miss the Harry Potter Halloween at the John A. Patten Community Center on Friday! There’ll be games, photo booths, and tons of family fun. Plus, the Halloween Trail Fest at Enterprise South Nature Park promises a scare-filled, two-mile haunted trail that’s perfect for thrill-seekers.

The Chattanooga Motorcar Festival is happening Friday through Sunday around the Westin Hotel. Whether you’re a car enthusiast or just love a good festival, this three-day event filled with classic cars, celebrity appearances, and live music is not to be missed! Shoppers, rejoice! The Chattanooga River Market will be back this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Tennessee Aquarium Plaza, offering up a unique selection of handmade arts, crafts, and food. Plus, let’s not forget about the Oktoberfest celebration happening at First Horizon Pavilion over the weekend with German-inspired goodies and live entertainment!

Theater and Community Events 🎭
