For all the art lovers out there, it’s a great time to appreciate local talent. The In-Town Gallery, located at 26A Frazier Ave., is featuring an exhibition titled “Cuttin’ Up”, showcasing stunning metal sculptures by Denice Bizot. This exhibition runs through October 30, and you can visit Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m..

Just a stone’s throw away, the Area 61 Gallery is running an exhibition called “The Faces/Phases of Rick Sanders”. You can catch this artwork on display until November, open Thursday through Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.. Don’t miss out on visiting the Hunter Museum of American Art for a hip hop fashion show this Thursday at 6 p.m. that celebrates the urban art scene of NYC.

A Lively Musical Scene

Music enthusiasts, prepare for a treat! The Barrelhouse Ballroom is set for a weekend of performances. Enjoy a variety of shows, including Pink Talking Fish and a ’90s country tribute band named Neon Moon. Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day of the show. Plus, there’s a special hurricane relief day on Sunday with performances that only require a small donation!

Family Fun and Events

This weekend is also perfect for family outings! The Chattanooga Apple Festival promises loads of excitement with food trucks, pony rides, and activities for the kids at Camp Jordan. The festival runs Saturday and Sunday, and the best part? Admission and parking are completely free!

Not far away, join the celebration at the 25th Anniversary of Coolidge Park on Saturday. This event features local vendors, free carousel rides, and outdoor games. Make sure to participate in the Witch and Warlock Paddle taking place that same day, encouraging costumes for a fun 2-mile trip around Maclellan Island.
