Community Mourns the Loss of Naffeesha Fox-Fuller

Nassau, Bahamas – The community is coming together in a wave of grief as they remember the vibrant life of Naffeesha Fox-Fuller, who sadly passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Naffeesha, only 44 years old, was a beloved daughter, mother, sister and friend, and her absence will surely create a void that will be felt by many.

A Life Well-Lived

Naffeesha was born on October 31, 1980, in the beautiful Nassau, Bahamas, to her proud parents, Sam Fox and Maria Ann Wilson. She had a happy upbringing, having graduated from C.W. Sawyer primary school and then moving on to the senior school of C.R. Walker. Those who knew her said she was a bright spirit with a smile that could light up a room, a true testament to her joyful nature.

For many years, Naffeesha was a vital part of the workforce at Walmart, where she worked in the online services department. But that was only one aspect of her life; she was also an active member of the St. Stephen’s Baptist Church in Nassau, where her strong faith and love for the Lord provided comfort and guidance to those around her.

Passions and Hobbies

Outside of work and church, Naffeesha was a wonderful baker and loved to treat her family and friends to her sweet creations. She enjoyed spending time shopping and had a passion for international travel, exploring new places whenever she got the chance. A bookworm at heart, she often found solace in reading novels, which allowed her to escape into different worlds.

More than anything, Naffeesha cherished her loved ones. Her daughters, Abira Rigby and Jasmin Smith of Chattanooga, shared how their mother would never meet a stranger due to her friendly and sociable nature. In her presence, everyone felt like they belonged, and her community is a better place because of her warmth and kindness.

A Heartfelt Farewell

Naffeesha is preceded in death by her father, Sam Fox, and is survived by her loving mother, Maria Ann Wilson, along with her siblings: two sisters, Percita and Tamika, and three brothers, Ramone, Austin, and Apprescio. She leaves behind a large family and numerous friends who will always cherish her memory.

The family invites those who want to pay their respects to join them on Friday, December 13, from 11 a.m. until the service hour. The chapel service will begin at 1 p.m., officiated by the Rev. Dr. Roslyn L. Astwood. If you can’t make it, condolences can be shared with the Fox-Fuller family, and the service will be live-streamed for everyone to witness the farewell to this remarkable woman.

Final Arrangements

All arrangements have been made with care by Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel located in Rossville. During this challenging time, the community truly comes together to support one another, and there’s no doubt Naffeesha’s beautiful spirit will continue to shine through the lives she touched.

In these difficult moments, we remember the impact one individual can have on a community and honor the legacy of Naffeesha Fox-Fuller, whose spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
