Graduating from high school in 1961, Anne exemplified the warmth and charm of the times. From her involvement in community events to her unwavering kindness, she was a staple in Hixson. Friends describe her as a nurturing figure, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. Those who knew her can attest to her passion for creating a strong and loving community. Anne’s sudden passing has left a gaping hole in the hearts of her neighbors and loved ones.

Honoring Essie Lee Moore Fritts

Next, we celebrate the life of Essie Lee Moore Fritts, who left us on December 9, 2024, at the age of 85. Essie resided in Sequatchie and brought joy to countless lives. A dedicated retiree from Kodak Film Processing in Red Bank, she was a hardworking individual who earned the admiration of her colleagues and friends alike.

Essie’s infectious smile and warm spirit were a source of brightness to everyone around her. Her family fondly remembers her love for baking and spending time with her loved ones. Always ready to whip up her famous chocolate chip cookies, Essie knew the way to people’s hearts was through their stomachs! Her legacy of love and support will live on through her family and friends, who will cherish the delightful times they had with her.
