Each of their establishments carries a unique taqueria name, which is a lovely nod to family heritage. For instance, the downtown spot on Broad Street has Taqueria Mami Lupe #2, while the Hixson location boasts Taqueria Mami Mariana—another grandmother! And for those near Cleveland, check out El Piedrón, named after the family’s home island in Mexico.

According to Stephanie, it’s not just about honoring family; it’s also about variety. “Our kitchen staff hails from different regions in Mexico,” she explained.
