Upcoming Monday Road Closure Announcement

The city officials have announced that a portion of Burning Bush Road will be fully closed to commuters this coming Monday. The thoroughfare will be undergoing repairs as part of a planned maintenance project aimed at replacing a critical stormwater pipe.

Extent and Duration of Closure

The involved stretch of the road is 2.4 miles long and commences from Three Notch Road and extends to Poplar Springs Road. The closure timings are expected to be from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the announced Monday.

A Convenient Detour Route Planned

The Catoosa County Public Works has proposed a detour route to alleviate the commuters’ difficulties during this short disruption. The detour will reroute the traffic along Three Notch to Post Oak Road and then to Poplar Springs.

Residents to Have Continued Access

It’s important to note that individuals residing on Burning Bush Road will maintain access to and from their homes, up to the designated work zone. The exact work zone positioned at the 4000 block of the road will be entirely closed for all vehicles during the operation hours.

Community Cooperation and Patience Sought

The city officials kindly request the community members to be patient and understanding during the repair process, as the operation is aimed at improving the longevity and safety of the vital infrastructure. The authorities have assured that attempts will be made to minimize the inconvenience to the public and the road will be reopened for normal traffic as soon as the work has been successfully completed.

Reminder for Safe and Responsible Driving

In connection with the upcoming work, drivers using the detour route are reminded to observe the traffic rules and exercise caution, particularly during the peak traffic hours, to ensure everyone’s safety.

The repair work and the road closure is necessary to maintain healthy and functioning infrastructure that supports our community. It is incumbent upon all community members to uphold safety and patience during this temporary inconvenience.
