Chattanooga, TN – In a tragic incident early Friday morning, a woman was found dead in a swimming pool on Trout Lily Drive. Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) patrol deputies responded to a distress call around 10:20 a.m. to the 7800 block of Trout Lily Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered the woman deceased in the pool.
HCSO Investigative Services personnel were quickly on the scene and have begun a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the drowning. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed at this time, pending notification of next of kin.
The victim’s body has been transported to the Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office, where a detailed examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause and manner of death. Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward to aid in the investigation.
