Chattanooga Celebrates Autumn with Exciting Fall Festivals Starting This Weekend

Chattanooga’s Fall Festivals Kick Off with a Sweet Start

Hey Chattanooga! What’s better than fresh apples on a crisp fall day? Not much, if you ask us! We’ve got some delightful news about the upcoming fall festivals at The Chattanooga Market. Get ready to mark your calendars because the fun starts this Sunday, September 15th!

Apple Festival: A Sweet Beginning

To kick off the season, The Chattanooga Market is hosting its beloved Apple Festival from 11am to 4pm at the First Horizon Pavilion. This isn’t just your ordinary farmer’s market. Imagine the freshest selection of apples you’ve ever seen, and multiply that by ten! Farms from around the region will be showcasing their vibrant apple harvests. You’ll find delicious varieties like Honeycrisp, September Wonder, and Gala apples. Plus, the Georgia Peach Truck is making an appearance with a twist – instead of peaches, they’ll be loaded with apples and fresh apple cider, available by the gallon or in ready-to-drink pouches.

Other farms like Melon Patch Farms and Hazelrig Orchards will also be there, bringing their own delightful apple varieties to the mix. Rest assured, the apple selection is going to be amazing!

More Than Just Apples

But wait, there’s more! This festival isn’t just about the fruit. Local vendors are getting creative with some fantastic apple-themed artisan foods. Think mouth-watering apple turnovers from the Federal Bake Shop and other apple-infused desserts. You’ll also find apple-scented candles and lotions, specialty jewelry, and other themed art pieces that are perfect for gifting or decorating your home.

And it’s not all about apples either. The market will also be offering fresh mums, spaghetti squash, and other fall squashes, which can add to your seasonal home menu. All these goodies make for a great Sunday outing with family or friends.

Live Music to Lift Your Spirits

No festival is complete without some toe-tapping live music! Every Market Sunday features live performances on the Lodge Cast Iron Sizzle stage. It’s the perfect backdrop to enjoy your fresh apple treat or your new fall finds. Grab a cider, find a good spot, and let the music take you to a happy place.

More Fall Fun on the Horizon

The Apple Festival is just the beginning. Chattanooga Market has a lineup of exciting fall events to keep your weekends busy and enjoyable. Coming up on Sunday, September 29th is the Scenic City Wings festival. And don’t miss the Chattanooga Oktoberfest, set for the weekend of October 12th and 13th. Expect even more delicious food, local vendors, and entertainment. It’s a calendar full of fun, welcoming locals and visitors alike to celebrate the season.

Plan Your Visit

So, folks, grab your favorite fall jacket, set a reminder, and head over to the First Horizon Pavilion for a Sunday well spent. Whether you’re an apple aficionado, a foodie, or just looking for some weekend fun, The Chattanooga Market’s fall festivals are the place to be. See you there!
