Chattanooga Families, Your Voices Matter!
Hey there, Chattanooga! Have you ever wondered how raising young children in our beautiful county stacks up? Well, Chattanooga 2.0 is inviting all families in Hamilton County to weigh in! They want to know what it’s truly like to care for little ones in our community and they need your feedback!
Share Your Insights Through a Crucial Survey
The nonprofit organization Chattanooga 2.0 has launched a family-focused survey that aims to gather insightful information about the experiences and needs of parents and caregivers with young children. This survey builds on the early childhood survey they first rolled out in the Spring of 2022. Now, in partnership with the national organization Start Early, they’re looking to understand how everything might have shifted since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
What’s on the Survey Menu?
The Chattanooga-Hamilton County Early Childhood Survey is a golden opportunity to express what works, what doesn’t, and how we can improve the resources available for our kids. The questions cover a range of important topics including:
- Pregnancy
- Healthcare access
- Early child development
- Education programs like child care and pre-k
- Jobs, food, housing, and more!
The feedback you provide will play a vital role in shaping an early childhood system map for Hamilton County. This map aims to inform future programs, policies, and services designed to better support families in our area.
Time is Ticking! Survey Closing Soon
If you’re a parent or caregiver living in Hamilton County, don’t wait too long to share your thoughts! The survey closes on November 17, so be sure to make your voices heard. You’ll need to be at least 18 years old and the primary caretaker of children under the age of six years—or even expecting a child—to participate.
Plus, the survey doesn’t take much time out of your day! It only takes about 10-15 minutes to complete, depending on your unique experiences. It can be done from the comfort of your own home, which is a big win for busy parents!
