A home in Chattanooga, Tennessee was devoured in an intense fire early Wednesday morning. The blaze, which torched the residence located on the 4500 block of Midland Pike, was reported just after 6 a.m. Residents in the surrounding neighborhoods awoke to the horrifying sight of the reportedly engulfed home, individual flames visible from as far as the Chattanooga Airport and Missionary Ridge.
The Chattanooga Fire Department was immediately dispatched to the scene following emergency reports regarding the fire. On their arrival, the firefighters were met with a blazing structure that was entirely swallowed by the inferno.
