Chattanooga Horse Photographer Elected To PPA Council

Chattanooga, TN – Betsy Bird, Cr. Photog., CPP, an award-winning equine photographer and founder of Ride the Sky Equine Photography, has been elected to the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) Council.

The noticeable achievement was announced by the PPA officials this week, stating “Betsy, an award-winning equine photographer, brings her passion, dedication, and expertise to this role, representing the vibrant photography community of Tennessee.”

Role and Responsibilities on the Council

As a member of this esteemed photography council, Ms. Bird will be one of three councilors representing the state of Tennessee and among the 150 councilors across the United States and Canada. Elected council members, chosen by PPA members within their state every three years, provide critical guidance and leadership in shaping the future of the photography profession.

Ms. Bird will be expected to participate in state and local association meetings, contribute to discussions on association matters, and participate in the annual meeting at Imaging USA.
