CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.—The city of Chattanooga is still feeling the effects of Hurricane Helene, which made its presence known during the early hours of Friday. The cautionary advice from local emergency officials came during a tense time, as drivers were urged to stay put and avoid unnecessary travel. Maxwell reminded everyone, “If you don’t have to go anywhere today, please stay at home.” She elaborated on the dangers posed by the high winds, which can make it hard to control your vehicle on the roads.
