The city of Chattanooga is abuzz as Chattanooga Live unrolls its roster of impressive music events stretching into the first week of March. True to its reputation of providing a diverse platform for talent, the upcoming line-up offers an eclectic array of shows across various venues in the city, stirring excitement among music lovers.
The Songbirds Foundation on Main Street will host a sold-out show by Robert Jon and the Wreck. This California-based band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Robert Jon Burrison, Andrew Espantman on drums and backing vocals, Henry James Schneekluth on lead guitar and backing vocals, and Warren Murrel on bass. This show is set to take place on March 1, celebrating the band’s newly released LP Album titled ‘Red Moon Rising’.
Chattanooga Live promises to deliver a vibrant palette of live shows touching different music genres. The line-up for the week includes Flogging Molly at The Signal, alongside Amigo the Devil & Gen and Degenerates, while The Dark Roast will be graced by Cozm & Nova along with Bambi & Common Criminal. The Memorial Aud. Chattanooga Symphony & Opera is set to present Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto.
As the week progresses, the Chattanooga Brewing will hold an open mic night with Jack Endelouz. Music connoisseurs can enjoy jazz nights at Wanderlinger with Jazz Futures and live music with Bemi at The Feed co. Table & Tavern. The Diving Mouse in Cleveland is preparing for a special open mic/stage night with Daddy Fro.
The numerous venues in the city will host multiple artists, including Steve Treviño at the Walker Theatre, Clay Parker & Jodie James at WSLR, Jason Lyles & Legitimizers at Puckett’s Chattanooga, and Chants In The Void at JJ’s Bohemia on MLK. Performances are also set to take place at well-known sites such as Memorial Auditorium, Barrelhouse, and Buds Sports Bar among others. A special event, called A Leap Day Miracle, is arranged at WSLR (St Elmo).
