Hey there, music lovers of Chattanooga! If you thought the live music scene couldn’t get any better, think again! November is bursting at the seams with fantastic events that you won’t want to miss. From local gigs to themed parties, this month has something for everyone!
Starting off strong on October 25, the Cherry Street Tavern is set to host an electrifying performance featuring Pink Stones and Color Green at 9 PM. But don’t stop there! If you’re looking for a chill vibe, head over to the Westin on the Patio at 6:30 PM for some smooth tunes by Gino Fanelli.
This Saturday, October 26, things get really interesting with Snapfest: Fright Night happening at the Walnut Street Bridge at 4 PM, followed by a Halloween Hoedown at The Yard in Dunlap featuring Jason Lee Williams & Friends. Don’t forget to wear your best Halloween costume for a chance to win some awesome prizes!
As we creep toward the end of the month, that Halloween spirit continues to flourish with exciting activities around every corner. The ever-popular Whiskey Cowgirl is hosting a Halloween party featuring Mary Kate Farmer at 9:30 PM on the 26th, while over at Diving Mouse, Soul Survivor will take the stage at 10 PM the same night.
In the spirit of supporting local talent, the second session of the Write to Rock (W2R) program kicked off at East Side Elementary School and Hardy Elementary School this week. Over the next five weeks, aspiring young songwriters will learn the ins and outs of songwriting from professional musicians. The excitement culminates in a lively showcase at Songbirds on December 5, where kids will present their songs performed by a full professional band along with Amber Carrington, a favorite from The Voice.
This program encourages creativity and skill development in elementary students, and the community is buzzing with anticipation. It’s so great to see kids becoming engaged in the arts!
This Saturday, November 2, promises to be a thrilling night as Cherry Street Tavern continues its celebration of Levi Brown with more performances from standout local bands. You can also catch Pigeons Playing Ping Pong rocking out at The Signal at 8 PM. Be sure to gather a group of friends and enjoy a night filled with good music and dancing!
With so many exciting events throughout Chattanooga, it’s the perfect time to grab your friends, explore local venues, and discover emerging talents. Mark your calendars now—this month of November is brimming with live music events that are sure to light up your nights!
