Something for Everyone: Library Passes

If you’re a holder of a Chattanooga Public Library card, listen up! How about catching the 2024-25 Chattanooga Symphony & Opera season without spending a dime? Passes are available at all five library locations, allowing you to redeem them for seat tickets to the upcoming concerts at no cost. Isn’t that just a fantastic perk?

Each library is offering one pass per concert, starting two weeks before each performance date, on a first-come, first-served basis. The next musical treat features the captivating Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto on Nov. 7 at Memorial Auditorium. If classical music doesn’t tickle your fancy, don’t worry! Art Displays Around Town

Art enthusiasts, this week is a visual feast for you. At Area 61 Gallery, located at 721 Broad St., you can enjoy “The Many Faces & Phases of Rick Sanders,” running through Nov. 30. And don’t miss the First Friday reception on Nov. 1 from 6-8 p.m.

Head over to the Arts Center in Athens, TN, where you’ll find “Gospel Quilts II: A Quilt Concert” featuring the vibrant art quilts of Karen Malone and acrylic paintings by Barbara Ensley, on display until Dec. 13. There’s an artist reception scheduled for Nov. 21 from 5-7 p.m. to chat with the creators.
