Chattanooga Motorcar Festival Returns with Family-Friendly Fun and Exciting Events This October

Chattanooga Gears Up for the Fifth Annual Motorcar Festival

Chattanooga, it’s that time of year again! The Fifth Annual Chattanooga Motorcar Festival is revving up for a fantastic weekend from October 11-13. This year, the festival has made it even easier for families to join in on the fun with a new family-friendly ticket price of just $20 for adults. And guess what? Kids aged 13 and under can come for free when they’re with an adult who has a paid ticket. Can’t beat that!

Support a Great Cause

All ticket sales will go towards supporting Chattanooga’s NeuroScience Innovation Foundation, a nonprofit that’s doing amazing work in the fields of Alzheimer’s and brain health research. By attending, you’re not just having a good time; you’re also contributing to meaningful research and innovation.

What’s on the Schedule?

Hold on to your hats, because this year’s festival lineup is packed with exciting events. There will be live music to keep those spirits high, and you won’t want to miss the Saturday morning parade led by none other than racing champion and Grand Marshal David Hobbs!

Car enthusiasts will have a blast checking out the J. Willard Marriott Ferrari Club, various car club displays, and an array of specialty car exhibitions. For Porsche lovers, the Luftgekühlt gathering of air-cooled models is sure to be a highlight!

But wait, there’s more! You’ll have the chance to sit in on some engaging celebrity panel discussions, and if you’re feeling a little less serious, the quirky Concours d’Lemons will be waiting for you. For families planning to make a day of it, the street festival features a laser light show and an exciting balloon drop that’s sure to delight the kids!

Watch the Games!

College football fans can cheer on their favorite teams with viewings set up at select restaurants in West Village on Saturday, October 12. New eateries like Chattanooga Brewing Company and St. John’s Restaurant are now welcoming guests. Whether you’re in the mood for a refreshing brew or a delicious meal, there’s something for everyone!

Collector Car Auctions

If you’re a collector car enthusiast, you’re in for a treat! Ticket holders at the festival will gain access to the Broad Arrow Auctions, happening at the Chattanooga Convention Center on Saturday. An impressive 100 collector cars are expected to cross the auction block, so whether you’re buying or just curious, it’s a can’t-miss event!

Concours d’Elegance Finals

And to wrap up this exciting weekend, the renowned Concours d’Elegance will showcase stunning cars from around the globe competing for class trophies. This is your chance to see some really special vehicles and witness the awarding of the highly coveted Best in Class honor.

Additional Festivities

The festivities kick off even before the main events with the Road Rally Chattanooga happening on October 9 and 10. This scenic drive through Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and North Carolina requires an additional ticket. If you’re interested, be sure to register ahead of time!

Join Us!

We expect this year’s Festival to provide even more fan-friendly activities than ever,” says festival founder Byron DeFoor. “All events, designed not only for car enthusiasts but families as well, will take place outside our home base, the Westin Chattanooga, right downtown in West Village.”

So get ready for a thrilling weekend filled with activities that the whole family can enjoy, all while supporting a fantastic cause. Grab your tickets, gather your family, and join us in Chattanooga for a weekend of fun, excitement, and camaraderie!
