Registration Open For Concours d’Elegance, J. Willard Marriott Ferrari Club At Chattanooga Motorcar Festival

Thursday, July 11, 2024

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn – The gates are set to open for entrants to the prestigious Concours d’Elegance and the J. Willard Marriott Ferrari Club at the upcoming Fifth Annual Chattanooga Motorcar Festival, slated for Oct. 11-13, 2024.

Calling Car Owners and Enthusiasts

The Concours d’Elegance will include fourteen classes to be scrutinized by experts, led by Chief Judge Mike Tillson. Ken Gross, Concours Director said, “We will present a diverse collection of significant and classic cars again this year. The quality and number of important cars the Festival has featured the last four years rivals the top events in the car collector world. We’re asking for owners to sign up early to ensure we continue that trend.”

In addition, the festival will feature the J. Willard Marriott Ferrari Club, which will have a new exclusive location in West Village. Steve Ahlgrim, Ferrari coordinator for the Festival, said, “We expect another outstanding display of world-class Ferraris from around the nation that fans will enjoy. Membership in the J. Williard Marriott Ferrari Club is open to Ferrari owners. Ferrari owners should register soon.”

Registrations for both the Concours and the Marriott Ferrari Club have commenced online at the event’s official websites.

A Weekend of High-Speed Fun

Festival Founder, Byron DeFoor, expressed his anticipation for the event, “We’re looking forward to another great Festival this year. All the weekend activities will be centered in and around West Village and will be walkable from ‘home base’, the Westin Chattanooga. This makes it perfect for families of every age to enjoy each day’s events.”

Other exciting highlights of the Festival include a car auction curated by Broad Arrow Auctions, which will take place in the Convention Centre, and Luftgekühlt’s celebration of air-cooled Porsches. Moreover, attendees can look forward to a varied programme of activities for children and adults, celebrity meet and greets, car club gatherings, specialty displays, Concours d’Lemons, street festivals, a parade, and more.

The festival will not only celebrate cars, but also aims to give back to the community. The proceeds from the Chattanooga Motorcar Festival will be directed towards supporting Alzheimer’s and neuroscience research through the Fifty Plus Foundation, Inc. The beneficiary is the Neuroscience Innovation Foundation.

Invitation to the Public

As DeFoor added, “The 2024 Chattanooga Motorcar Festival will be an exciting, nonstop celebration of the best collectible automobiles in the world. We welcome everyone to visit this dynamic and scenic city. Cars might be the reason you visit Chattanooga, but we guarantee that the Festival has something for everyone.”
