As the New Year begins, January 2 is kicking off with a bang, featuring JJ’s Bohemia Open Mic Comedy at 9 PM, where local comedians will showcase their talent. If comedy isn’t quite your vibe, head to The Diving Mouse in Cleveland for an open mic/stage night with Daddy FRO starting at 8 PM. The options are just endless!
Mark your calendars for January 3, as various venues will be filled with all sorts of genres. Hi-Fi Clyde’s on Main will be rocking the night with Milele Roots Reggae at 9 PM. Over at Puckett’s on Market, Brandon Maddox will be performing at 8 PM, guaranteeing some country vibes. If you’re in the mood for something lively, check out the Burlesque Obscure show at JJ’s Bohemia at 9 PM.
Don’t overlook Gate 11 Distillery featuring Richard Daigle at 7 PM for a more intimate experience. Meanwhile, Barrelhouse offers Dock Party with Rock and Skate & Cora Waddell starting at 8 PM, and Crescent City Tavern (Dalton) will have the Velcro Pygmies at 9 PM. On January 4, get ready for another fabulous night out with Hi-Fi Clyde’s hosting an event that’s still TBD but promises to be nothing short of spectacular. Join Bella Lam at Puckett’s on Market, or catch Jason Lyles at Gate 11 at 8 PM. The highly-anticipated Throttle 21 Night #2 continues at Farm To Fork at 8:30 PM, and you can enjoy a tribute concert with Departure: A Tribute To Journey at Barrelhouse at 9 PM.
From January 6 to January 11, the music scene is bustling with performances at various venues, including Puckett’s on Market featuring Jack Endelouz and multiple events at both Hi-Fi Clyde’s and The Woodshop. For more notable performances, don’t forget about the special concerts scheduled at Memorial Auditorium featuring renowned artist Pam Tillis among others.
After January, there are even more exciting events just around the corner! The WoodSongs Dalton Concert Series featuring Zoe and Cloyd is set for January 25, and a production of the Tony Award winning revue, Ain’t Misbehavin’, will start on February 13.
