A Community Open House will be held on March 27, showcasing enhanced draft designs that focus on recreational spaces, dining, and safety improvements. Community feedback is integral, with residents able to share their thoughts online if they miss the open house. The plan, developed with significant public input, aims for completion by June 2025 and construction to begin in early 2026.

With a commitment to honoring the city’s history, celebrating its vibrant arts and culture, and improving connectivity and ecological health, the plan aims to create shaded spaces for all to enjoy.
Local leaders place a strong emphasis on the *importance of civic engagement*, believing that community input is vital in capturing the essence of what makes Chattanooga special. It’s clear that the people’s voices have been heard loud and clear!

Future infrastructure upgrades will also support large-scale events, promising a vibrant atmosphere for both locals and visitors alike.
If you can’t make it to the open house, don’t worry! Design images and a survey will be available online starting March 28, allowing the community to share feedback until April 11, 2025. This is a golden opportunity to ensure your voice gets heard even if your schedule is busy.
The final design for this ambitious undertaking is on track to be completed by the end of June 2025, with construction expected to commence in early 2026. As Chattanooga sets out on this exciting journey of rejuvenation, the aim remains focused on creating a *community-centered* and inclusive riverfront that everyone can enjoy.
