The Chattanooga Public Library is thrilled to announce that passes for the highly anticipated 2024-2025 Chattanooga Symphony & Opera (CSO) season will become available for checkout starting next week, on September 16, 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who holds a valid library card to enjoy the magic of live symphonic performances at absolutely no cost!

What You Need to Know About CSO Family Passes

That’s right! With these passes, you can snag some fantastic seats for CSO concerts without spending a dime. For every concert, each of the library’s five locations will have one Family Pass available for checkout. But here’s a little catch: these passes are handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis. So, make sure to mark your calendars and get there early!

Once you have your pass, you’ll be able to redeem it at the CSO Box Office on the day of the performance for 2 adult tickets along with up to 4 youth tickets. It’s a perfect way for families to enjoy a night out together filled with beautiful music and a fun atmosphere.

A Special Concert Just for You

Additionally, don’t miss the chance to attend the upcoming “Sensory Friendly” Concert happening on September 21, 2024, at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre. This concert is free for the public and is tailored for patrons who have disabilities or sensory sensitivities. It’s designed to create a welcoming space where you and your loved ones can feel comfortable expressing yourselves, whether that means moving to the music or chatting quietly. Be sure to reserve your seats online!

Bringing the Community Together

Will O’Hearn, the Executive Director of the library, expressed the profound impact these initiatives can have on our community, stating, “There is something magical about experiencing a live symphonic performance…” He further emphasized how the library and CSO are working hand in hand to open up these incredible opportunities. It’s a harmonious collaboration that truly benefits the people of Chattanooga.
