Starting off, the Photographic Society of Chattanooga is showcasing its stunning autumn show at the Gallery at Blackwell. You can stop by after work and peruse beautiful works that are also available for purchase. Festivities Galore!

This weekend is packed with festive fun as the annual Hamilton County Fair takes over McDonald Farm! Running from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, you can indulge in amusement rides, games, and live entertainment. There’s something for everyone, including a rodeo and fireworks! Tickets are only $8 daily or get a three-day pass for $13 if you buy ahead of time!

Chilimauga, happening in downtown Chickamauga on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., is offering a chili cook-off alongside local vendors and live music. Admission is free, but if you want to taste the chili, you’ll need a tasting ticket, which runs between $10 to $15.

Shop Till You Drop!

Also happening this Saturday is a chance to kick off your Christmas shopping! There are multiple Christmas markets to explore, including the Christmas market at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., featuring handmade crafts and gifts. Not to mention, you’ve got the Tennessee Festival of Vendors at the Hixson Community Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. where you can also enjoy food, crafts, and more. Plus, remember to bring a new toy for the Toys For Tots program!

Tunes and Entertainment

For music lovers, the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera has a stirring concert lined up at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at Memorial Auditorium. If you’re in the mood for something lighter, check out Kidz Bop Live on Saturday at 6 p.m. – it’s bound to be a blast for the younger crowd!

And if you’re in the mood to laugh your heart out, you can catch Nick Swardson performing at the Walker Theatre on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. or join Becky Robinson‘s comedy show on Saturday at 8 p.m.. Tickets for both shows are still up for grabs!
