Chattanooga Set to Welcome Two New Cava Locations This Year

Chattanooga Welcomes New Mediterranean Dining Delight

Chattanooga is gearing up to add a dash of Mediterranean flavor to its vibrant food scene! The popular restaurant chain, Cava, plans to open not one, but two locations in our lovely city this year! Residents can look forward to a new dining experience at 454 Northgate Mall Drive in Hixson and 2260 Gunbarrel Road in Chattanooga.

Exciting Expansion Plans

In a recent email from Cava spokesperson, Sarah Seale, it was shared that the company is excited about its expansion into Chattanooga, believing that this city will be a fantastic place to reach more guests. “We know people love our food,” Seale highlighted, which is great news for everyone who enjoys delicious Mediterranean cuisine!

What to Expect

Cava is known for its delightful menu that features a range of customizable bowls and pita wraps. Diners can choose from an array of fresh vegetables, grains, and proteins like chicken, steak, lamb, or falafel to create their perfect meal. With options suitable for both meat lovers and vegetarians, there is something for everyone!

Location Details

The new Cava in Hixson will be situated in a free-standing building with a pickup window, making it convenient for those on the go. Its location has an interesting backstory; developer Bassam Issa mentioned that the property had been undeveloped for years before he purchased it and divided it into two sites. He expects the Hixson location to open in late September, right behind a Logan’s Roadhouse.

Issa described Cava as a “good brand” that’s on an upward trajectory, having gone public about a year ago. “The food is fantastic. It’s fresh and new,” he added, commenting on the positive reception he anticipates from the community.

Future Developments

As for the second lot next to the Cava site, Issa is looking to attract another exciting concept, be it retail, an additional office, or even another restaurant. “We are negotiating with some people, but we’re not there yet,” he explained, hoping to find a great addition to complement Cava’s Mediterranean flair.

A City for Everyone

Chattanooga is described by developers as a “great, progressive city,” where the style of Cava fits right in with the desires of local diners. Whether you’re a young food enthusiast or someone who enjoys a healthy, hearty meal, this new eatery is sure to become a hit!

Cava’s Vision for the Future

Operating over 300 restaurants across 25 states and the District of Columbia, Cava has ambitious plans for the future. According to their filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the company envisions growing to more than 1,000 locations by 2032. Their authentic Mediterranean cuisine focuses on uniting great taste with health-conscious options, which is a recipe for success in today’s dining culture.

The Power of Community

With the anticipation building for these new openings, it’s clear that Chattanooga residents are in for a treat! As more details emerge, locals can stay tuned for updates on when they can savor the unique flavors from Cava. Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to Mediterranean dishes, this new dining option promises to be a delightful addition to the community!
