Chattanooga Hosts Exciting Wine Celebration for Historic Preservation this October

Chattanooga Set for a Joyful Wine Experience this October

Chattanooga, get ready to sip, savor, and swing at one of the most delightful events of the season! On Saturday, October 19, the prestigious Hunter Museum of Art will transform into a haven for wine lovers during the eagerly anticipated Best Cellars celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. This year, the event promises to deliver not just an exquisite selection of premium wines but also a feast for the senses with gourmet food, live music, and a chance to support the lovely historic preservation efforts in our local community.

A Taste of Excellence

Event-goers can look forward to sampling wines sourced from renowned vineyards, including the illustrious Caymus Vineyards, The Duckhorn Portfolio, Hess Persson Estates, and Moet Hennessy, just to name a few. Each sip transports you on a journey through some of the finest wine offerings, all while nestled within the stunning backdrop of the Hunter Museum.

This year welcomes the immensely talented Chef Kevin Ramquist of The Unicorn to the event for the very first time. With over 30 years of culinary passion, Chef Ramquist blends high-quality ingredients from local farmers with global culinary arts, crafting dishes that harmonize perfectly with champagne, red, and white wines. His classically trained French techniques shine through every delightful bite, ensuring a dining experience that matches the premium wine selections.

Tunes to Dance the Night Away

The festivities don’t stop there! The Robert Crabtree Trio is set to return, featuring the captivating vocals of Sharon Schwab. Expect a lively performance defined by energetic swing and Latin rhythms that will have guests tapping their toes and dancing the night away. With a soundtrack this vibrant, it’s bound to be an unforgettable evening!

A Night of Good Company and Goodwill

Thanks to Lexus of Chattanooga, the Platinum Presenting Sponsor, all attendees will take home a special commemorative wine glass along with delightful gifts! Lexus is also introducing something new this year—the Lexus Lounge, an exclusive space for you to relax and enjoy the vibes. We are thrilled to recognize Pinnacle Financial Partners as a returning Gold Level Sponsor, further enriching this charitable experience.

Why It Matters

This wonderful wine journey isn’t just about indulging; it’s also about giving back. The event serves as a vital fundraiser benefiting Preserve Chattanooga, an organization dedicated to protecting the heritage and historic charm of our beloved city through education and advocacy. Since 1975, Preserve Chattanooga has diligently worked to celebrate and honor the stories held within our iconic structures, and your participation plays a significant role in this ongoing mission.
