East Ridge Community Invites All for Annual Thanksgiving Celebration on November 26

Join the East Ridge Community for a Heartwarming Thanksgiving Celebration!

As the season of gratitude approaches, the lovely city of East Ridge is gearing up for its second annual Community Thanksgiving, a delightful event that promises to bring neighbors together over good food and great company. On Tuesday, November 26, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, the doors of the East Ridge Community Center, located at 1515 Tombras Avenue, will open to welcome everyone.

A Generous Invitation

The best part? This wonderful Thanksgiving meal is free for all who wish to attend! Whether you’re a resident of East Ridge or just passing through, everyone is invited to join in on the festivities. “You do not have to be an East Ridge resident, and you can come alone or bring the whole family,” Hannah Spear, the Community Center Supervisor, shared. “We want this meal to be a true representation of the diverse community we are so lucky to be a part of and a time for us to get to know our neighbors.”

Pre-Registration: Don’t Miss Out!

While the meal is complimentary, pre-registration is highly recommended. It will close on November 15, or earlier if they reach full capacity. To register, simply scan the QR code found on the official East Ridge Community Thanksgiving flyer. It’s a quick and easy way to ensure your spot at this heartwarming gathering.

Calling All Volunteers!

In the spirit of community and giving, the City of East Ridge is also seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with the event. If you’re interested in assisting with set-up, serving meals, cleaning up, or breaking down, signing up is a breeze! The volunteer flyer also features a QR code for easy registration. “The idea behind this event is to bring the community together during the season of giving,” said Cameron McAllister, Administrator of East Ridge Economic and Community Development. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to our community, and we want you to join us!”

A Call for Sponsorships

This year, East Ridge has also introduced a sponsorship package for those who wish to contribute and help make the Community Thanksgiving a tangible reality. If you’re interested in teaming up with the city for this special occasion, don’t hesitate to reach out. For further details, shoot an email to Hannah Spear at the provided contact information or check out their social media pages, which are filled with updates and information on this incredible event.

Get Ready for a Memorable Evening

So, mark your calendars and get ready for a delightful evening filled with delicious food, warm connections, and the joyous spirit of Thanksgiving! It’s a time to reflect on our many blessings, share moments with friends and neighbors, and enjoy the fantastic community that East Ridge offers. Don’t forget to register before the deadline, and consider stepping up as a volunteer to lend a helping hand.

This Thanksgiving celebration is all about togetherness, and there’s no better way to appreciate the season than by gathering with the community. Let’s make this event a memorable one! See you there!
