Dr. Reed Turpin Joins Center for Oral, Facial & Implant Surgery

Noted Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Added to Prestigious Surgical Center’s Team

Chattanooga – Announcement has come that Dr. Reed Turpin, a respected oral and maxillofacial surgeon, formally joined the Center for Oral, Facial & Implant Surgery. Dr. Turpin will be offering a full spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMS) services and will start seeing new patients across all three branches of the center.

A New Face in a Established Practice

Commenced initially in Chattanooga, the Center for Oral, Facial & Implant Surgery has throughout the years expanded to Cleveland, Tennessee, and then to Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Having made its reputation in the region and in the OMS industry for its clinical excellence, the center has added a valuable new member to its experienced team– Dr. Reed Turpin.

Dr. Turpin, known for his proficiency and empathy, will be starting his services at the Chattanooga office from July 25. Furthermore, he will hold privileges at most major hospitals in the area. His medical aptitudes involve dental implants, full mouth rehabilitation, corrective jaw surgery and maxillofacial trauma.

A Physician of Proficiency and Prestige

Being an esteemed native of the Chattanooga area, Dr. Turpin completed his graduation from the McCallie School in Cleveland, Tennessee, in 2012. Subsequent to this, he received the highest honors and a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and cellular and molecular biology from The University of Tennessee Knoxville. He continued to shine academically by graduating as valedictorian from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry in Memphis.

Dr. Turpin was conferred with the dean’s award for clinical excellence as well as the William F. Slagle Faculty Medal. Following his dental studies, he gained in-depth surgical training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville during his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, the highest volume hospital in the state.

Looking Ahead with Excitement

Upon joining the Center for Oral, Facial & Implant Surgery, Dr. Turpin shared his zeal and anticipation. He lauded the center for its reputation for excellence and felt honored to be part of this tradition. He aims to learn continuously from his fellow oral and maxillofacial surgeons and deliver excellent patient care.
