Bacon Lovers Rejoice!

First up, the Chattanooga Bacon Festival is back, running from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Camp Jordan Amphitheater. If you love bacon, you’re in for a treat! There will be tons of food trucks, local vendors, inflatables, a petting zoo, and live entertainment. Best of all? Admission and parking are free. So, whether you like it crispy, chewy, or slathered in your favorite sauce, this festival is perfect for you. It’s a rain or shine event, so grab your umbrella just in case!

Celebrating Culture at the Hispanic Heritage Festival

On Saturday, from noon to 4 p.m., head over to the Highland Park Commons for the Hispanic Heritage Festival. Embrace the vibrant Latino culture with delicious food, exciting entertainment, and local vendors. Plus, check out the Beth Cup soccer tournament kicking off at 3 p.m. It’s a great way to learn, celebrate, and enjoy some amazing festivity!

Artistic Adventures

For those who appreciate the arts, the Photographic Society of Chattanooga continues its autumn show at the Gallery at Blackwell from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays through December 6. You can explore beautiful works by local artists, and if you find something you love, they’re available for purchase!

Meanwhile, the In-Town Gallery is celebrating its 50th anniversary with special events taking place this weekend, including a reception on Friday night from 6-8 p.m.. Drop by for live music, dance performances, poetry readings, and even face painting for the kids!

Outdoor Fun and Live Music

If you’re looking to enjoy some time outdoors, check out Nooga Splash, running until September 28 at Chester Frost Park. This floating water park is an absolute blast for all ages! Operating hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays.

Now for the music lovers, head to The Signal on Saturday night at 9 p.m. for the Pink Pony Club, a fun DJ night. Tickets range from $23 to $40. If you’re up for a community vibe, join the free Levitt Bloc Music Series at Southside Community Park at 2 p.m. on Sunday for a performance by the talented Keke Wyatt.

Engaging Community Events

There’s also a variety of community events happening, such as the Fall Junk Market in Ringgold, which offers vintage wares throughout town on Friday and Saturday. And what’s better than discovering hidden treasures?

If you’re looking for a family-friendly event, don’t miss the FunFair Festival on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Chattanooga Green. Games, activities, and plenty of fun await for the kiddos!

Foodies, get ready! If you’re in the mood for BBQ, make your way to the BlueCross BlueShield BBQ event at Jones Memorial Church on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Plates, sandwiches, and potatoes will be available, all for a good cause.

Lastly, for some family time, the Fall Plant Sale and Festival at Crabtree Farms happening on Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. features a variety of plants, arts, and food vendors. You can even enjoy hayrides while shopping for your garden!
