Chattanooga offers an exciting opportunity for teenagers to participate in an engaging free summer camp program focusing on media and music productions. The “GO LIVE” Summer Media Teen Camp will be returning from June 3 to July 26.
The ‘GO LIVE’ summer camp will operate from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., from Monday through Thursday. It is hosted at the South Chattanooga Community Center, located at 1151 W. 40th Street. This free camp has a limited capacity with only 30 spots available to preserve the quality and attention to all participants.
Designed for teenagers ages 13 to 17, the camp will provide hands-on experience in creating music, videos, and graphics under the guidance of professionals. The purpose of the camp is not just to teach teenagers about media and music but also to help them express their creativity and develop practical skills.
At the end of the summer camp, the participants will have the opportunity to showcase what they have learned and created during the program. It will feature their creativity and progress, and serve as a platform to exhibit their work to family, friends, and the Chattanooga community.
For interested participants or their guardians, registration can be made by contacting Kesseler Cuffman or Mark Thomas via phone at 423-643-6810, or by email at communitycenters@chattanooga.gov. Online registration is also available.
Offering a unique platform for teenagers to explore and deepen their understanding of media and music, the “GO LIVE” camp aims to provide a summer filled with learning, creativity, and fun. The camp also fosters a supportive community, promoting collaboration and teamwork among participants.
Through such initiatives, the city of Chattanooga continues to meet its commitment to support youth development by providing opportunities for learning and growth. The free “GO LIVE” Summer Media Teen Camp is one such testament to this commitment.
