Country music artist Lauren Alaina has announced the cancellation of her upcoming performances in Savannah, Virginia Beach, and Charlotte, due to the unexpected death of her father, J.J Suddeth. The sudden and tragic loss was shared with her fans via social media on Wednesday, July 24.

In an poignant statement shared on her Instagram story, Lauren Alaina bravely disclosed her devastating news. “We lost my daddy last night, and I really don’t have words yet.” said Alaina, native to North Georgia. Her public revelation showed the artist’s courage in the face of personal tragedy and demonstrated her strong relationship with her fans.

“I’m not able to play the three shows I had scheduled for this weekend in Savannah, Virginia Beach, and Charlotte. I am going home to be with my family,” she further stated, indicating her intentions to cancel the pending performances as a way to grieve over her tragic loss together with her family.

Highway Desperado Tour

Lauren Alaina was scheduled to open for country star Jason Aldean in his upcoming “Highway Desperado Tour” on July 25 and July 26 in Savannah and Virginia Beach.
