Chattanooga, TN – Music lovers in Chattanooga are in for a treat this fall as the Levitt BLOC Music Series makes its return. Thanks to a generous two-year grant from the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, these free outdoor concerts will bring high-quality live music performances directly to local communities.

The series kicks off on September 1st and promises a vibrant lineup that spans a variety of music genres. The initiative is designed to ensure that residents from different parts of the city can enjoy what the series has to offer without having to travel far from home. Here’s a look at the upcoming schedule:

  • September 1st: Peter Collins at RISE Creative Community Hub
  • September 8th: Moonchild at Miller Park
  • September 15th: Hispanic Celebration Community JAM at East Lake Park
  • September 22nd: Keke Wyatt at Southside Community Park
  • September 29th: Eric Roberson at Miller Park

The diverse locations of these concerts include RISE Creative Community Hub, Miller Park, East Lake Park, and Southside Community Park. Each venue is carefully selected to cater to different neighborhoods, making sure everyone has the chance to experience these wonderful events.

One of the standout performances will be the Hispanic Celebration Community JAM on September 15th, which aims to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Hispanic community in Chattanooga.

Kyle Garrett of RISE Chattanooga expressed excitement about the upcoming series, saying, “The Levitt BLOC Music Series helps bring communities together through the power of music. It’s a great opportunity for families and friends to gather, enjoy live performances, and support local artists.”

This year, the Levitt network will present more than 650 free concerts all across the United States, showcasing a wide variety of musical talent and making live music accessible to all. Chattanooga’s inclusion in this national series highlights the city’s commitment to fostering community spirit through arts and culture.

The Levitt BLOC Music Series is known for bridging gaps, creating spaces where people from all walks of life can come together and enjoy the magic of live music. With performances ranging from soul and R&B to pop and Latin tunes, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in this year’s lineup.

Residents are encouraged to bring their friends, family, and even picnic blankets to these outdoor concerts. Each event is designed to be family-friendly, making it a perfect way to spend a fall evening in Chattanooga.

For those worried about parking and accessibility, each venue is set up to accommodate large crowds, and organizers are working to ensure that the events are inclusive and welcoming for people of all ages and abilities.
