In Chattanooga, a bustling lineup of live music and various events promise to entertain residents and visitors alike throughout the week. The fresh list of happenings kicked off on May 8, featuring some promising up-and-coming and established artists, including Nic Belvin, Rain City Drive, Thomas Csorba, and more at various venues across the city.

The lineup for this week includes an open mic night, live performances from local and touring artists, DJ parties, comedy shows, and other exciting events at local bar-restaurants like Cherry Street Tavern and 1885 Grill (St. Elmo).

A Glimpse into the Upcoming Events

On May 10th, Chelsea Drugstore will be getting the audience grooving at the Strawberry Festival in Dayton to the music of the Rolling Stones. DJ Danz will spin some exuberant rythms at Bar Watson’s Luau Party. The same day, the Daly Special will entertain at El Fogon in Hixson.

Memorial Auditorium has scheduled a Salute to John Williams presented by the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera. In addition, two shows will be held at the Comedy Catch hosting CeeJay Jones, keeping the audience in stitches with his witty comedic acts.

Later in the week, local woman musician Cody Harris is slated to perform at the Mother’s Day Brunch. The brunch will be held at 1885 Grill on May 12. The next day, audiences can enjoy the Blues Jam with Robin Baker at the Gate 11 Monday Night and experience comedy night at the Wanderlinger brewing.

The week winds down with a series of local concerts. Barrelhouse is scheduled to host the band Fancy Hagood on May 16, for the release of their new LP, “No One Gets Out Alive.” On the same day, Amber Fults will be performing at the 1885 Grill in St. Elmo, while Happenstance can be seen at the Barking Legs Theater.
