The Nashville-based ensemble is famous for their electrifying blend of blues, soul, R&B, and gospel music. Under the talented leadership of frontman Mike Farris, former lead singer of the Screamin’ Cheetah Wheelies, attendees of this week’s Riverfront Nights can look forward to an inspiring and highly energetic concert.
The evening’s musical festivities will commence with a performance by homegrown talent, Paul McDonald and his band, The Mourning Doves. McDonald, an accomplished composer and pianist, is known for his unique compositions that are frequently featured on TV and radio broadcasts. His musical journey has taken him around the globe, providing an extensive range of influences that resonate through his music.
Beyond musical performances, attendees of the Riverfront Nights can look forward to a family-friendly atmosphere complete with delightful food vendors and painting sessions for young attendees, courtesy of Wondering Watercolor.
The excitement doesn’t stop there! The Chattanooga River Games will also be taking place this weekend, starting from Friday, July 26, until Sunday, July 28. The games offer numerous adrenaline-pumping sports, including Døds diving, slacklining, wake surfing, and rock climbing. A ramp positioned favorably will provide a thrilling plunge point for bikers and skateboarders into the Chattanooga riverfront.
Fortunately, the Riverfront Nights have been blessed with favorable weather throughout the series thus far. However, Mickey McCamish from the Festival Organizing Committee has asked all attendees to remain weather-alert and stay updated on possible changes.
