Beginning its journey back in 1973, the Missionary Ridge Road Race has grown in prominence and is a cherished event in the Chattanooga calendar. The race starts bright and early from 169 South Crest Road at 8 a.m. on August 3rd. If the prospect of a 4.7-mile run seems daunting, don’t worry! There’s also a one-mile fun run starting just five minutes later at 8:05 a.m., so everyone can participate in the day’s celebrations.
