Chattanooga’s Noontunes Concert Series Brings Local Music Back to Miller Park

Chattanooga’s Noontunes Concert Series Returns to Miller Park!

On a beautiful Wednesday afternoon in Chattanooga, music lovers are in for a treat as the Noontunes concert series kicked off its much-anticipated return on September 11! Held at the lovely Miller Park, this weekly event runs every Wednesday from 12 PM to 1 PM through October, and boy, are we in for a musical feast!

What to Expect at Noontunes

For those unfamiliar with Noontunes, this series offers not just fantastic music but a whole range of activities that truly celebrate the heart and soul of Chattanooga. People of all ages are encouraged to come together, bask in the great outdoors, enjoy delightful food from local food trucks, and even join in on some fun games. It’s all part of a new initiative called “Take a Break,” aimed at fostering community vibes and supporting local talents.

One of the coolest aspects of Noontunes is that attendees get to experience live performances by talented local musicians who call Chattanooga home. Whether you’re a fan of rock, jazz, folk, or any other genre, there’s bound to be something that’ll get your toes tapping!

A Growing Legacy

Noontunes isn’t just another concert series; it has a legacy that dates back to 2016! Since then, it has showcased over 50 musicians from the area and has significantly contributed to the local music economy by investing more than $18,000. Talk about making a positive impact!

Listening Live and Beyond

Can’t make it to the park? No worries! Noontunes performances are later broadcast on WUTC 88.1FM, so you can still enjoy the shows from the comfort of your home or on the go. It’s a wonderful way to ensure that even those unable to attend can soak up the sounds of Chattanooga’s rich musical talent.

Support from the Community

The program is made possible through generous sponsorship from wonderful organizations, including City of Chattanooga Parks & Outdoors, Tennessee Arts Commission, Rise Partners, Barge Design Services, EPB, First Horizon Bank, and Elliott Davis. Their support helps keep this beloved event running and thriving, allowing the community to come together and support local artists.

Mark Your Calendars!

As we dive deeper into the fall season, it’s the perfect time to take a break and enjoy the vibrant tunes spilling from the Miller Park Stage. Gather your friends, grab your lunch, and make it a mid-week tradition. The outdoor concerts offer everyone a lovely space to unwind, reconnect with friends, or simply enjoy some fantastic music.

This September, don’t miss out on the chance to witness the best of Chattanooga’s musical scene! Every week holds the promise of new sounds and rhythms, providing the perfect backdrop to your midday break. Whether you are a long-time fan of local music or looking to discover your next favorite artist, Noontunes is the place to be!
