With Riverbend taking a break for 2024, Chattanooga, Tennessee, is all set to offer its residents and visitors an exciting new replacement with River Front Nights. Starting this weekend, the summer concert series promises a line-up of exciting performances every Saturday evening until the Labor Day weekend.
The concerts, which are free for all to attend, will be held at Ross’s Landing. Riverfront Nights aims to showcase the talents of budding musicians and give them a platform to reach bigger audiences.
Mickey McCamish, the Executive Director of Friends of the Festival, shares that the summer concert series, which has been freely accessible to the community for 17 years, has grown significantly due to the sponsorship of Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union. This has enabled the series to add more music nights and bands to their roster, including both local and out-of-town performers.
Out-of-town acts like The Peterson Brothers, hailing from Austin, Texas, express their enthusiasm about returning to Chattanooga after their previous stint at Riverbend. Local band Moon Juice, from Hamilton County, are also looking forward to their first experience at the larger venue of Riverfront Nights. They acknowledge the opportunity a free concert offers for increased reach and share the band’s enjoyment in performing and sharing their creations with new audiences.
Both bands are excited to share their recent work with the Riverfront Nights audience. River Front Nights serves as a dynamic medium for these artists to connect with music lovers and share their passion for music. Above all, they are excited about the memorable experience that a full-audience concert tends to offer, irrespective of the listener count.
