Chattanooga, the city known for its vibrant music scene, invites the public to attend an evening of nostalgic tunes this Saturday, as the Riverfront Nights concert series features the headlining act, Rubiks Groove.
Rubiks Groove is distinct for its “outside of the box” approach to performing tribute renditions of hits from the 80s, 90s, and 00s. The band creates an interactive experience involving a vibrant blend of rock, hip hop, and eccentric costumes and themes. Audience members can expect an immersive 360-degree experience, filled with live music, extravagant costumes, unforgettable characters, and engaging videos. The Riverfront Nights promises not only to deliver an incredible music experience but invites attendees to add to the riveting spectacle by dressing up in their flamboyant and diverse attire.
The festivities kick off at 6 p.m., with vendors ready to welcome guests to the venue. The night also includes performances by multi-instrumentalist Scott Mulvahill, who is slated to take the stage at 7 p.m. Mulvahill, known for his collaborations with Ricky Skaggs and Bruce Hornsby and famed membership of Skaggs’ Kentucky Thunder band, boasts a vibrant repertoire spanning Americana, bluegrass, jazz, rock & roll, and roots music.
Mickey McCamish from Friends of the Festival informed the public about the arrangements in case of rain. The shows are slated to occur rain or shine. However, concerning severe weather or thunderstorms, the concerts may be subject to timely delays or last-minute cancellations.
