The annual StarNight event has been a beacon of community goodwill and philanthropic zeal in Chattanooga, Tennessee, for more than six decades. This year, the Siskin Children’s Institute is thrilled to have talented and heartfelt singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw as the main attraction, aiming to raise funds for this noble cause on August 24, 2024.
The 61st StarNight Gala will be graciously hosted by the Chattanooga Convention Centre, with support from First Horizon Foundation and Tennessee Valley Authority. The rendezvous will host a fabulous cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, fine dining, a concert performance, and much more.
StarNight has become Chattanooga’s must-attend gala, attracting supporters from all walks of life and regions. With a rich history of featuring notable entertainers ranging from The Band Perry, Kevin Costner & Modern West, to Sheila E., LOCASH, Kodi Lee, and Andy Grammer, this year’s choice is once again ready to rock the stage.
Aside from the glittering performances, the core objective remains the support and enhancement of Siskin Children’s Institute’s mission. The funds raised from the Gala help to serve more families and children in need.
Gavin DeGraw is not just a renowned multi-platinum singer and songwriter, but a connoisseur of life music. With a successful music career kicked off by his platinum-certified debut album, “Chariot,” and subsequent award-winning albums, he has shared the stage with icons like Billy Joel and The Allman Brothers. DeGraw has also been actively involved with various charitable organizations, underlining his commitment to offering back to the community.
In relation to his performance for the benefit, DeGraw shared, “I am excited about coming to Chattanooga, TN and showing the supporters of Siskin Children’s Institute a good time. My main goal is to provide the audience with a memory that they always want to talk about.”
Gearing up for the event, all eyes are on Chattanooga, expecting an evening filled with positivity, great music, delicious food, exciting auction items, and most importantly, a collective attempt to make a difference.
The Institute welcomes everyone to join them in this celebration and graciously calls on everyone willing and able to support their philanthropic efforts through donations. For upcoming updates and more details, visit www.siskin.org/starnight, or call at 423.648.1706.
