New Leadership Team Takes Over at the Trust Co. of Tennessee

Chattanooga Prepares for a Changing of the Guards at Highly Regarded Trust Flagship

Chattanooga, TN – A new era dawns on the Trust Co. of Tennessee as they welcome a new leadership team following the retirement of the long-serving senior vice president, Andy Muldoon, who officially steps down on June 30th, 2024. Muldoon has spearheaded the Chattanooga unit for nearly a decade, bringing to the table decades of experience in banking and trust.

A Respected Legacy

Starting his journey in the early ’80s in Chattanooga with the former American National Bank, Muldoon has a varied history with Chattanooga’s banking industry. Before his return in 2015, he headed the Atlanta-based SunTrust Banks’ personal asset management group, an impressive $35-billion asset division.

He joined Trust Co. of Tennessee in 2015, linking up with his former colleagues from American National Bank who had helped establish the Chattanooga office of Trust Co. in 2012. These colleagues included Fred Speakman Jr. and James Wood.

The New Reign

William Probasco, Tracey Smith, Andy Muldoon, and Zach Hurst make up the new leadership lineup at one of Tennessee’s largest trust companies. In a recent photo taken on March 28, the group prepared for the significant transition expected for the company.

All eyes are on this capable quartet as they accept the baton from the hands of their esteemed predecessor.

An Optimistic Horizon

Though heralding substantial changes in the company’s leadership, the transition also sparks excitement about future possibilities. The Trust Co. of Tennessee has positioned itself firmly as a pillar of reliability and integrity within the community. The incoming leadership team is undoubtedly tasked with upholding this heritage.

This move symbolizes a fresh start, a chance to continue building on the solid foundations laid by the retiring Muldoon.

In Conclusion

In such an influential sector, the Trust Co. of Tennessee’s change in leadership is a significant event. As Muldoon steps down, his successors have their task cut out for them – to carry forward the legacy of one of the state’s largest trust companies.

For now, Chattanooga and the larger Tennessee community look forward to seeing what this new leadership team will bring to the table.
