USC has recently seen a few key players enter the transfer portal, causing a little stir among the coaching staff and fans alike. Noteworthy departures include Duce Robinson, who has signed with Florida State, Kyron Hudson, who will be playing for Penn State, and Zachariah Branch. On top of that, sixth-year senior Kyle Ford just wrapped up his collegiate career in the Las Vegas Bowl, leaving a significant gap for the team to fill.
In the face of these losses, the Trojans are looking to bolster their roster with new talent, and Phillips could be an excellent addition. Over the past season at Chattanooga, he displayed impressive skills, recording 49 receptions for 803 yards and scoring three touchdowns. Over his career, he has tallied up a total of 153 receptions for 2,088 yards and nine touchdowns, marking him as a player to watch.
Phillips isn’t just on USC’s radar; he’s also drawing interest from several other programs, including Iowa, Memphis, and Virginia Tech.
