Day 1: Friday, 24th May

Mark the start of your long weekend by knocking off work early and heading straight to The Greenhouse for the inaugural week of the Nightfall Happy Hour. Savor some fabulous drink deals and groove to live jazz music. Ensure to grab a punch card for future prize opportunities.

Around 6 p.m., make your way to the Miller Park + Plaza to be a part of the opening night of the annual free concert series called Nightfall. Enjoy food and drinks from 6:30 p.m. onwards while the band goes live at 7 p.m.

Day 2: Saturday, 25th May

Begin your day with a warm coffee from the newly-opened Just Love Coffee Cafe. Participate in their grand opening event and enjoy free food and drink samples along with some exciting giveaways.

Later in the afternoon, take a refreshing dip at The Hotel Chalet’s pool at The Choo Choo. Get your pool passes from The Caboose at Elsie’s Daughter and luxuriate in delectable food, drinks, and lively music. Special hotdogs are on the menu just for the Memorial Day weekend.

Day 3: Sunday, 26th May

Start your day exploring the city’s local marketplace at the Chattanooga Market. Join hundreds of fellow Chattanoogans shopping, eating, and drinking at the annual Street Food Festival.

In the afternoon, get sporty by catching a Chattanooga Lookouts game against the Mississippi Braves. You can even contribute to a good cause by donating a canned good or a non-perishable food item to receive free admission to the game.

Day 4: Monday, 27th May

Indulge in a leisurely morning then get outdoors in the afternoon by walking the beautiful Chattanooga Riverwalk. Interesting fact: this Riverwalk has been recently named one of the top locations for families to visit on Memorial Day. Apart from the enchanting views of the 13-mile path, you can also enjoy fishing spots, picnic areas, and playgrounds along the way.

As the day progresses, plan a delightful picnic in the lush and scenic Coolidge Park. Pack your favorite food and savor them while basking in the sun amongst nature’s beauty. And, if it gets too warm, you can cool off in the nearby fountains.
